It strikes me that even though it’s just them, just Kurt, Blaine is still nervous. He’s been rejected all his life and judged for what he is and no matter what, it’s his knee-jerk reaction now. It’s “will I be accepted or won’t I?” He even sings the song about it.

And Kurt comes in knowing he’s upset, doesn’t say anything when Blaine gets emotional, just lets him do his thing because he knows. 

I want a Blaine voice over so badly. I just really want to know what’s going on inside his head in scenes like this, before Kurt walks in.
